Moggies and Muttlies

I have been a Professional Dog Walker and Cat Visitor since 2001 and qualified in 2012 as a Companion Animal Bereavement Counsellor with The Animal Care College and, provided Pet Bereavement Support sessions working with a local vets for over two years (2017 to 2019) before moving to Dorset in July 2019.

Prior to the ‘lockdown’ I had been in contact with local vets with a view to providing a similar service – I am hoping it will not be too much longer before I am able to contact these vets once again as this is a much needed service.

I am hoping that sometime later on this year I will be able to provide the Companion Animal Loss Support as before, ‘face to face’ but in the meantime I have started working online. I am using Facebook and Instagram (moggies_and_muttlies).

I have a Private Group page at Facebook connected to Moggies and Muttlies named ‘Companion Animal Loss Support (Heart to Heart)’ where human guardians are welcome to place a tribute to their companion animal along with a picture.

I am aiming to open a further Private Group named ‘Moggies and Muttlies Library of Resources’ – I am looking to connect with like-minded professionals and human guardians and their companion animals to provide, hopefully, another very much needed service.
