I have been a Professional Dog Walker and Cat Visitor since 2001 and qualified in 2012 as a Companion Animal Bereavement Counsellor with The Animal Care College and, provided Pet Bereavement Support sessions working with a local vets for over two years (2017 to 2019) before moving to Dorset in July 2019. Prior to the ‘lockdown’ I had been in contact with local vets with a view to providing a similar service – I am hoping it will not be too much longer before I am able to contact these vets once again as this is a much needed service.
